Characterization of Na-S Battery System Using X-ray Absorption Spectroscopy

In recent years, energy storage has become one of the worldwide&nbsp”;”concerns with increasing need for the energy. In terms of meeting the&nbsp”;”increasing energy need, the developed electrochemical devices&nbsp”;”attracted great attention. Besides in progress researches on Li-ion&nbsp”;”batteries, the batteries with lower cost and higher efficiency have&nbsp”;”been investigated. Due to the increasing concerns about mineral&nbsp”;”reserves, and safety issues, researches have been carried out to find&nbsp”;”solutions with further alternative materials.

Our main goal is to apply a commercially available electrolyte to Na-SPAN cells and demonstrate its high rate and cycle stability.
