Guided tours through the CARL
All participants of the Battery Day NRW and the Advanced Battery Power Conference are cordially invited to a guided tour and discussion in convivial company at the Center for Ageing, Reliability and Lifetime Prediction of Electrochemical and Power Electronic Systems (CARL) at RWTH Aachen University after the end of the official agenda.
The number of participants is limited.
Please register using the online registration below. Experience shows that the dates are booked up very quickly.
Two dates are available:
- Wednesday, 26.04.2023, from 18:00 h
- Friday, 28.04.2023, from 18:00 h
The tours cover the entire research building and provide insights into the following areas in particular:
- Electrical test field for ageing tests on batteries and battery systems
- Test field for investigating environmental influences on battery systems
- Chemical laboratories for the characterisation of battery cells and materials
- Laboratories and test facilities for the investigation of power electronic systems
The tours take place in small groups. After the tour, we look forward to lively discussions over drinks and snacks. The tours will take place at CARL, Campus-Boulevard 89, 52074 Aachen. Transport will be provided from the Eurogress to the institute buildings and back to the Eurogress.
