In order to enable a holistic balancing of this technology change and to avoid problem shifts, further environmental impacts should be evaluated at the same time. Recycling of lithium-ion batteries is becoming increasingly important. This requires integrated, computer-based modelling and balancing of various technical systems along the life cycle of electrified vehicles.
